My husband Tommy & I moved from the city to start homesteading over 10 years ago with the dream of growing nourishing food for our family.

Today, we live on 5 acres with our 7 kids (ranging in age from 1-13) where we grow approx. 90% of our meat, 60%+ of our produce, all our milk, eggs, and many other products.

The best part though?
None of our homestead efforts require the use of our sole, off-farm “town” income! Every single feed order, fence post, vacuum seal bag, new animal, etc. is paid for by the income we generate from other areas of our homestead.

(So yeah, you could say we are eating nourishing homegrown food for free! Minus some labor)

Even though our goal of growing a farm with one income and a large family was going to be a challenge… we did it! And we’ve managed to without debt, while working around homeschool schedules, and have even been blessed to have an abundance to share and sell to give us profit for additional projects.

I would love every small family homestead to feel the FREEDOM we feel being able to build this lifestyle without financial limitations!

  • Beginning April 1st, one new lesson will be posted each Monday for 4 weeks. The lessons will be in a printable handbook with a video option as well if you prefer to listen/watch to learn. Each lesson will be under 30 minutes and have recommended “homework” with worksheets to guide you.

    You are free to do the program at your own pace! You can do each lesson on your own time, the week it’s released or two months later… there is no time limit! Anytime new material is added to the program, you will have access to it through your enrollment.

  • The entire program (video & printed information) are accessed through my website via your email log in. The community group is on Facebook.

  • Absolutely not! There are dozens of ways to generate income from your homestead even if your footprint is under an acre!

  • Honestly, if you ever PLAN to generate income from your homestead (existing or future)… yes! The earlier you know the principles/mentality of running a homestead as a business, the sooner you will be profitable.
